Racing Career Highlights

  • Won six consecutive track championships at Asheville Speedway from 1983 through 1988
  • Was the 1988 track champion at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in South Carolina
  • Over 150 Late Model victories around the country during his career
  • From 1985 through 1987, won three North Carolina Late Model State Championships
  • In 1989, became first NASCAR Busch Grand National driver to win a race in his rookie year
  • In 1993, finished third in the final NASCAR Busch Grand National points standings
  • In 1995, finished second in the chase for the NASCAR Winston Cup Rookie of the Year
  • On February 15, 2002, Pressley won his first-ever NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Daytona International Speedway in the Florida Dodge Dealers 250 starting from the 10th position.  It is Pressley's first win at Daytona International Speedaway in any NASCAR division.
