Rose Earned a Trip to the NASCAR Trailer After Event

Brian Rose had a rough day at Martinsville Speedway that resulted in a
trip to the NASCAR hailer following the running of the event on Saturday.
Rose finished the Advance Auto Parts 250 in the 27th position after starting
in the ninth position. But the finishing run down of the event does not tell
the whole story for the No. 4 team.

Rose had one of the trucks to beat early, but when you are a new young
driver it is not uncommon for your fellow competitors to not give you the
respect that you may wish for. Early in the race, Rose was spun by the No. 5
truck resulting in the loss of several positions. Later in the race the No.
1 truck and the No. 90 trucks also got in on the action, by taking a turn at
Rose and the No. 4 Bobby Hamilton Racing Truck.

After all of these run ins with other drivers it was no more mister nice
guy when the No. 88 truck tried to move Rose out of his way by spinning him.
Rose turned his truck around on the speedway and made a move to
retaliate. He did at the last moment restrain himself, but NASCAR was not
happy with the action. NASCAR parked the No. 88 truck for several laps
following the accident.

Rose's day was a complete disappointment when the battered truck stalled
in the pits and was forced to go behind the wall for repairs. Rose did
return to the event to finish the race, but a 27th place finish was all the
team could salvage.

The finish dropped the team to 7th in the overall NASCAR Craftsman Truck
Series points standings with three events run.

"I admit losing my temper out there, but I just can't let people drive
over or through me every other lap," said Rose. "This was a tough race for
us, but we'll rebound at St. Louis. I have no doubt of that. Danny
(Rollins) and the boys will have another great truck under me and we'll see
if we can't get back the ground that we lost this week."
