Chase Montgomery has made a name for
himself competing in the ARCA Series. In 30 career starts, he has one
win, six top-five and twelve top-ten finishes. After his victory in
the Advanced Auto Parts 200 at Daytona International Speedway last
February, Montgomery set the standard by being the highest finishing
rookie in his NASCAR Busch Series debut the very next weekend for the
Koolerz 300. Montgomery also holds the record for the youngest driver
to win a pole at Daytona.
"It's exciting to be part of BHR and have an affiliation with the
Dodge program. Our plans for 2004 are to reach attainable goals by
qualifying well and finishing strong each week. I'm confident that
with the resources and experience that Bobby has to offer we can have
a great year in the Craftsman Truck Series," Montgomery stated
enthusiastically.
"Over the past few years, Bobby has been kind of like a mentor to me.
He's a true racer and I'm glad to have the opportunity to work with
him and Chad (Chaffin)," Montgomery concluded. |
