News and Notes:
The North Carolina native will be making his 12th NASCAR start at Phoenix International Raceway. He has 11 previous NCTS starts at the 1.0-mile oval. He has scored three top-five and eight top-10 finishes in those trucks starts.
Setzer has scored nine top-10 starting spots in the last 10 events.
Setzer will pilot “Bob Daddy” on Friday evening. This particular chassis has not been driven since the 2007 season, but received a complete body makeover earlier this year.
The No. 18 Dodge will be showcasing the Power Chrysler Jeep Dodge paint scheme during the Casino Arizona 150. The Power Chrysler Jeep Dodge was the outstanding sales performer selling more Dodge vehicles than all the surrounding dealerships, thus winning the prize to sponsor Setzer's No. 18 Dodge Ram at Phoenix this weekend.

BHR Flashback: PIR was the site of Bobby Hamilton Racing’s first truck series victory. Joe Ruttman scored the team’s first victory in 2003 by leading 101 of the 150 laps. Last year BHR Driver Mike Bliss scored a third place finish at PIR after he led 54 laps before being “moved” out of the way by Ron Hornaday Jr. in the closing laps of the event.
“Can you hear me now?” by Dennis Setzer: “Several months ago when our organization was forced to shut down to one team I was out fishing with my buddies the day it happened. I was unaware of what was going on at the race shop when I received a phone call from my boss Lori (Hamilton). She started explaining to me what was happening and said “we are cutting back to one team and you’re…” when my phone just cut off. The line just went dead and here I am out in the middle of a lake with no signal in sight. I turned to my buddies and said, “Guys, I think I just got fired.” Thankfully, we were able to get reconnected and I learned I still had a job. Every time I see one of those cell phone service commercials about service cutting off I just stop and laugh. I think Lori and I could be featured in the one about ‘a bad time to lose cell service’.”
