More than Just Momentum: “You can do a lot of things to make a team better. You can add new people, buy new parts and even change the driver from time to time. But I think the one thing that makes a team better is something you can’t buy. Momentum by far has to be the best ingredient for a winning team. I can be walking through the garage and you will overhear someone say ‘It doesn’t matter what they do …they have momentum on their side.’ It is the one thing you can’t purchase in racing. Despite all the changes that my team has endured the past few weeks we have momentum on our side. In the past five races we have scored four top-10 finishes and winning the pole and finishing second last weekend in Gateway was icing on the cake. I have known all year long this team could do that, but it just takes everything going your way. The team I have right now is the best of the best. I would put them up against any team in this garage on any given day.” Dennis Setzer at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Series Starts Average Start Average Finish Wins Poles Top-Five Top-10s NSCS 1 34.0 24.0 0 0 0 0 NNS 5 31.4 18.2 0 0 0 2 NCTS 9 16.8 10.6 1 0 5 6 Dennis Setzer Career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Stats Career NCTS Starts: 259 * NCTS Wins: 18 * NCTS Pole: 4 * NCTS Top five finishes: 76 * Top 10 finishes: 146 2008 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Stats NCTS Starts: 17 NCTS Wins: 1 NCTS Pole: 1 NCTS Top five finishes: 3 NCTS Top 10 finishes: 6 Laps Led: 159 Laps Completed: 2786/2877 Average Starting Position: 14.1 Average Finishing Position: 13.6 2008 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Race Results Date Venue Start Finish Feb. 15 Daytona International Feb. 23 March 7 March 29 April 26 May 16 Lowe’s Motor Speedway 28 7 May 24 May 30 June 6th June 14th June 21st June 28th July 19th July 25th O’Reilly Raceway Park 10 26 August 9th August 20th Bristol Motor Speedway 8 8 Sept. 6th Gateway International Raceway 1 2 2008 BHR No. 18 Team Roster Position Name Position Name Front Tire Changer Jonathon Ellis Rear Tire Carrier Chris Amos Front Tire Carrier Chris White Gas Man Lucas Nobbe Jack Man Stephen Douglass Catch Can Man JR Hollar Rear Tire Changer Joseph Hull
