News and Notes:

The North Carolina native will be making his eighth NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at Nashville Superspeedway on Saturday. He has seven previous truck series starts at the famed-concrete track and has scored one top-five and three top-10 finishes.

Before NASCAR moved the Nashville-based race from the Music City Motorplex to the Nashville Superspeedway in 2001, Setzer scored one victory on the short track in 1999 while ironically piloting a Dodge Ram.

In 2003 former BHR Driver Chad Chaffin won the pole at the Nashville Superspeedway driving the No. 18 Dodge Ram.

Setzer will pilot "Nitro" this weekend. He drove this particular chassis last month at Kentucky where he scored a fourth place finish and at Michigan and Texas in June.

Setzer will sign autographs at the Tahoe Display outside the track on Saturday at noon. Come by and grab a sample of the latest Tahoe Smokeless Tobacco.

A Look Back: In only his second truck race at Nashville Superspeedway the late Bobby Hamilton Sr. won the 2004 event with no radio communication to his crew chief. He won his personal favorite trophy the famed Gibson guitar trophy. Before moving to Martinsville, VA earlier this season BHR called the Nashville area home for 10 years.

Creative Communication: "One of the best wins I have witnessed at Nashville came when Bobby Sr. won there in 2004. He didn’t even have radio communication with his crew chief. We are spoiled by the current technology, but sometimes it doesn’t always work. When that happens you have to get creative, go high on the track to show you are loose, or hit the roof with your hand to let them know you are tight. Take Montréal as an example, it was the first time for rain tires during a race, but the rain plagued the radio communication. They were forced to an alternative way of communicating and once again it paid off for the winner."
