Compton Has Experience at Kentucky Despite No Truck Starts: "Even though I will be making my first start in a truck at Kentucky Speedway this weekend I don’t expect to hit any road blocks. I have had tons of laps in a Nationwide car and tested in 2000 when Dodge was developing their engine program several times. I can’t tell you how many laps I turned during those motor tests, but I know it was a lot. BHR’s mile and a half program has been getting better each week and I think what we have learned the last few weeks will show this weekend. Kentucky has always been a good track for me. I can’t really pin point why, but every time I raced there in a Nationwide car we finished well. For a long time I held the track record in qualifying, but it was recently beat. To be honest I am as excited about going to Kentucky as I have been about a race track in a long time. I think it could be a good weekend for us."
