News and Notes:
ƒæ The Virginia native will be making his first start at Mansfield Motorsports Park this weekend. This will also be Crew Chief Bryant Frazier¡¦s first visit to the short track.  
ƒæ The No. 4 Dodge will be sporting the Spitzer Dodge paint scheme this weekend. The Spitzer Dodge dealership was the outstanding sales performer selling more Dodge vehicles than all the surrounding dealerships thus winning the prize to sponsor Compton's No. 4 Dodge Ram this weekend.
ƒæ Compton will pilot ¡§SLIM¡¨ this weekend at MMP. This chassis is one of the oldest in the BHR stable and was Bobby Sr.¡¦s personal favorite.

Compton Not Sure What to Expect in Mansfield: ¡§Thank goodness it is not every weekend that you go to a race track that neither the driver nor crew chief have ever been to, but that is the challenge Mansfield is giving us this weekend. Bryant (Frazier) and I have never seen the track. Last week at Lowe¡¦s we both talked to several drivers and crew chiefs on what to expect. One told us to ¡§bring our rain boots¡¨ because it always rains and another told us it was ¡§good ole short track racing.¡¨ Luckily, I have the defending winner as a teammate to lean on. I think you will see pit strategy at its best this weekend. It is going to be interesting to see who takes tires and who doesn¡¦t.¡¨

Crew Chief Bryant Frazier on Stay Positive While in the Valley: ¡§I have always been a firm believer in this sport that you need to have a talented driver, a good set-up underneath your vehicle and a good dose of luck on your side. The latter of the three is exactly what we have been missing the last few weeks. It has not been a case of parts breaking down on the truck or anything similar to that. Instead it has been on track incidents beyond our control or pit road mishaps that have snatched a good finish from us. I took my crew guys out to eat on Monday to tell them they were doing a good job and the bad finishes are not because of anything they have done. We have to keep up the hard work and it will pay off in the end.  Last week at Lowe¡¦s teammate Dennis (Setzer) spun out and still finished in seventh place. They have luck on their side right now. It will come around eventually you just have to keep at it.¡¨
