Setzer will be making his 11th career NASCAR start at Atlanta Motor Speedway when he pilots the No. 18 Fastenal Dodge on Saturday afternoon. He has four NASCAR Busch Series and six NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts at the 1.54 mile oval. He has recorded a top 10 finish in three out of the six NCTS starts.

Bobby Hamilton Racing has one victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway with Bobby Hamilton Sr. in March of 2004 when he famously passed Mike Skinner who spun across the finish line.

Setzer needs just $45,106 to become the series’ second competitor to reach the $5 million winnings mark. Jack Sprague currently holds that record.

Setzer will pilot “Timmy” this weekend at AMS. He drove this particular chassis to a seventh place finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last month.

Head and Neck Cancer Screenings at AMS: On Friday, October 26th, free Head and Neck Cancer screenings will be conducted ‘inside the track’ for race teams and crew members, by physicians, nurses and speech pathologists from Emory University Hospital. These screenings will occur near the media center from 9am until 4:30pm. Then outside the track on Saturday, October 27th, from 9 a.m. until the race starts there will be head and neck specialists from Atlanta area hospitals that will provide information and conduct free screening exams to check for oral, head and neck cancer. The screening tent is open to the public and will be located in the vendor area near Gate 15 across from the General Motors and Motor Racing Outreach displays. BHR has taken an active role in promoting Head and Neck cancer since Bobby Hamilton Sr. was diagnosed and passed away in January from complications from Head and Neck Cancer.

Taking the High Line at Atlanta: “I still remember the first time the truck series raced at Atlanta. It had been a while since I had last run a NASCAR Busch race or even tested at the track and I was taking my time getting a feel for the track’s surface. Right when I thought the low lane was better for making passes Bobby Hamilton Sr. flew by beside me on the outside in his own groove. I couldn’t believe he was trying that but I jumped in line right behind him to learn. I learned a lot that day about working the high side at Atlanta. Heading back this year in his equipment I am hoping for the same results he had in 2004.”
