No. 4 Open Joist Dodge Ram Fast Facts Mike Bliss will climb back behind the wheel of the No. 4 Open Joist Dodge this weekend at Kentucky. It will be Bliss’ third start in the Bobby Hamilton Racing Dodge. He will be making his fifth start at Kentucky Speedway on Saturday. He has three NASCAR Busch Series and two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts at the 1.5 mile oval. Bliss competed in the Busch Race at Kentucky last month. He started 16th and finished ninth. Bliss will pilot “Demon” at Kentucky. This particular chassis last competed at Michigan International Speedway with Bobby Labonte behind the wheel. Bliss looking for third top-10 finish: The Open Joist Racing Team is hoping for the same success this weekend they have had the last two times Bliss has driven the truck. Bliss recorded a fifth place finish at Dover and a seventh place finish at Milwaukee last month. Fastenal Summer Interns at Kentucky: The contest winners of the Fastenal Racing Internship program will spend the week at BHR working to prepare the Dodges for this weekend’s event in Kentucky. Jaysen Delpierre, a recent graduate from Des Moines Area Community College, and Kyle Paulson, a recent graduate from Vincennes University, will get their hands dirty this weekend as they each work on the race crews at Kentucky. Mike Bliss on Kentucky: “I have a win at Kentucky in the truck series. So, I am hoping for the same result this weekend. Every time I climb into the Open Joist Dodge we have ran competitively. I ran the Busch race there last month and the track has definitely changed over the years. It has settled in now.
