Scott Lagasse Jr. on Racing at Atlanta: “I am looking forward to heading back to Atlanta. I really enjoyed racing there in the spring. It is a really fast race track and it makes you stay on top of your game. Tires are essential to being competitive throughout the course of the race. You do not want to get off sequence with the leaders because they will kill you on new tires and if you ever get a lap down its hard to overcome. It is definitely a driver’s track because you can run the high line, the middle or the low line. Atlanta is also a down force track and BHR has come a long way since we raced in March. They really went back to the drawing board and found out what made us struggle at the beginning of the year and fixed it. I think we will be a lot better this time around.”
