Bobby Hamilton Jr. on the renovations made to Las Vegas Motor Speedway: “Las Vegas is going to be a really interesting track when we go there this time because I have no idea at all as to what to expect with all the changes they have made to the race track.. The old configuration was more of a typical racetrack in which you had to have the truck turning well in the center. If you could do that you had a real good shot at winning. With the new configuration I haven't even seen a photograph of it so it will be different that is for sure. I am going in without an idea of what to expect but we have a day of practice to get it sorted out that should help. I have heard mixed feedback on the new layout, I heard they were going to add more banking like Charlotte then I heard that the new banking wasn't that steep. Whatever it ends up being I am sure that you will be able to go wide open around it in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck and I am sure we will be able to go two or three wide racing with the steeper banking. The new asphalt will add a lot of good grip so whoever can stay wide open all day will have a great chance to win.”

Bobby Hamilton Jr. on the nightlife and colorful nature of Las Vegas: “Las Vegas is definitely a different city, if you are into the night life atmosphere then that city is made for you. When I go there I am just amazed by all the casinos and hotels. I am a big fan of Elvis and I know he spent a lot of time performing in Las Vegas and living in Las Vegas. I know he performed at Caesar’s Palace many times so for some reason I always think of him when we come to town. We just like to watch all the people as they make their way around, if you can't find something to do in Las Vegas between all the shows, the gambling and the people watching then you must be pretty easily bored, It is a fun town."
