Canton, Georgia's Chase Miller will be making his second NCTS start and first at LVMS in The Smith’s 350. Miller will be piloting Demon this weekend. Demon is a new chassis in the BHR stable this season and has competed in six events. At 19 years of age Miller is the youngest NCTS competitor and 26 year old Marcus Richmond is currently the youngest crew chief in the series. Chase Miller on his first strip to Las Vegas Motor Speedway: “This will only be my second race in a truck and my first at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Everything is still pretty new to me, but I think I am up to the challenge. I went to New Hampshire and had never sat in the truck before and never seen the race track. And I was encouraged with how the weekend went. We have a test day at Las Vegas on Friday so I am confident I will have plenty seat time before Saturday.”

Miller on his first NCTS start last weekend: “I was really pleased with how last weekend went. Going into New Hampshire I was not sure what to expect. The crew guys were great to work with and everyone seems to get a long. One time I remember thinking “it can’t be this much fun”. I was happy that I finished inside the top 20, but disappointed at the same time. We had a great truck and it was unfortunate we got caught up in the wreck with Brendan Gaughan. Those things are going to happen. I think we all proved we could come back from adversity on Saturday. A 17th place finish was great considering what all we went through.”
Crew Chief Marcus Richmond on Las Vegas Motor Speedway: “I am thankful we have a test on Friday to figure out the track. Sometimes situations like this can be extremely difficult. We have previous experience at Vegas and notes to go off on, but they mean nothing now. It will not be anything like it was last year when we raced in September. I have talked to several people who have been to the track and they say it is a mixture between Texas and Chicago. Our setup is similar to what we ran at Nashville and we raced really well there. I am hoping everything goes well so we can give Chase lots of seat time on Friday to get him acquainted with the track.”
