Bristol Motor Speedway: “One thing I feel good about heading into Bristol is that, unlike some of the places I have run this year, I have at least had some experience on this track. I ran one late model race at Bristol so I am pretty familiar with the racetrack and the high banks. It won’t be a completely strange place for me although it will be my first time there with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. These trucks drive really differently than the late models but having raced there previously will be a help. I think we will be fine. Bristol is my style of race track and I am hoping a return to the short tracks will help us get the finish we deserve.”

Overcoming Adversity: “We definitely have enough adversity to get over. Last week we had a really strong truck and we had our chance for success taken away by someone else’s mistake. You don’t forget something like that but you have to put it out of your mind and concentrate on having the best run possible each week. It is disheartening to have something like that happen but we just need to get back to the way we were running at Dover and Charlotte. We have had to repair one of our better trucks after the unnecessary crash at Nashville. I hate that for everyone who works on these trucks, it takes a lot to put one together and to have it come back in ruins, really hurts too.”

Notes:
• Timothy Peters will make his 11th career NCTS start in the O’Reilly 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
• Peters registered his best NCTS finish at Dover on June 4th coming home in the sixth position.
• Peters is currently 2nd in the NCTS Raybestos Rookie of the Year chase, 94 points behind Todd Kluever.
• Peters will pilot the BHR chassis “Rocket” this weekend at Bristol.  It will be “Rocket’s” sixth NCTS start. The chassis ran at Charlotte, Kentucky, Memphis, IRP and Nashville with Peters behind the wheel.
 
Expectations and Goals for the remainder of the 2005 NCTS season: “To get as much experience and track time as I can is one of our goals. To finish each race I run on the lead lap is another one. We just need to finish these races without bad luck taking its toll on us. I think we have had our feel of other trucks crashing into us or cut tires. We just need to concentrate as a team on finishing these races as good as we can. We know that we aren’t racing for driver’s points so we have to make the most of our situations and get some more top ten finishes and show what we are capable of as a team.”

Crew Chief Randy Seals on Bristol: “All crew chiefs have a love-hate relationship with Bristol. You love taking a truck there but you hate bringing one home from there.  I am excited about going to Bristol with Timothy. He has turned into somewhat of a concrete king. We went to Dover, he had never been there before and we finished sixth. We went to Nashville and ran really well there until we got taken out. So Timothy has proven he can master these concrete race tracks. This team has really pulled together over what happened at Nashville. Everybody is pumped up about how good the truck ran. We practiced good, we qualified well and we ran good in the race. We just had the misfortune."
