Sponsorships on the horizon: “I am very excited about having RoadLoans and the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino logos on the truck this weekend. RoadLoans has agreed to be the primary sponsor of the No. 18 Dodge for five races including this weekend’s race in Las Vegas. They are an awesome company who make buying a vehicle a lot easier on the average consumer. The Stratosphere Hotel has been a great partner with BHR in the past while we are in Vegas. They provide us with great hospitality and in return we hope to give them solid performances on the race track. We do a huge autograph session on Friday evening from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the casino. It is a really cool deal. I am glad to have a new look on the No. 18 Dodge and hope to bring home our first top-10 of the season this weekend.”

Letting Go of What You Can’t Control: “I think one thing that makes a race car driver successful is being able to let go of things you can not control. If you hang on to something that happened last weekend and bring it into this weekend it will ruin your focus and maybe your finish. The past two weeks we have been on our way to solid top 20 finishes and something has broken toward the end of the race. It is frustrating because you work so hard in the beginning of the race to get your truck set up just right for the final run and then a part breaks. We lost a gear on the last lap at Richmond and  a wheel stud broke at New Hampshire that ended our day with 30 laps to go. At first I was real disgusted when I climbed out of the truck at our inability to finish the race. The more I thought about it the more I realized things are going to happen I can’t control. We win together as a team and we loose together as a team. I have made plenty of mistakes on the track that has cost us solid finishes. Parts are going to break more often then we would like them too. You just have to be able to stay focused on letting go of what happened last week and moving onto this week.”

Las Vegas Preview: “I love Las Vegas. I love the city and the track. It is a fast race track and you need good solid set up underneath you to win there. It is a very temperature sensitive race track. I think we have made some progress since we raced at Charlotte and Kansas and that should show this weekend. I am confident we will have a very strong this weekend. The guys have been working really hard to make sure every bolt is tight so hopefully nothing will let go on us this weekend. I am not only looking forward to a strong run, but to completing all 146 laps. I am confident we can turn our luck around and start off a batch of top-15 finishes.”
