Chase On Martinsville:
Chase is coming off another solid run at Texas last week where he came home with a 17th place finish for the second time this year at the 1.5 mile speed plant of the Texas Motor Speedway.

“What a change of pace to come off one of the fastest tracks on the circuit and go to probably our slowest here at Martinsville.  This will be my second visit to the paper-clip shaped track but it already ranks high on my list of favorites.  We had a solid run earlier this season with a 16th place finish and I know that I will be better as a driver this second time around.  The action at this short track is non-stop door-to-door racing and provides for a great show.  The new racing surface will surely change things but since it is only my second visit there it will not affect me as much as some of the veterans – maybe it will actually be a little advantage for us.”

#8 DODGE at Martinsville:
Chase will be racing a chassis nicknamed “Chunky” this weekend at Martinsville.  This will be the seventh race of the 2004 season for “Chunky” and Chase finished 17th last time out with the truck in New Hampshire.  Also, “Chunky” has produced the career best effort for the rookie earlier this year at Gateway.

Martinsville Sponsors:
Chase and his #8 DODGE will complete a four race sponsorship program this week at Martinsville with Alpine Engineered Products.  The rookie and his BHR2 team will once again be joined at the track by some Alpine representatives.  The program has been deemed a huge success and together everyone is hopeful of a career day this Saturday at Martinsville.

Also, the hood of the # DODGE will be adorned with the logo of the team’s year-long Associate sponsor – Gladiator Garageworks.  As part of a promotional program, Chase will spend time in New Jersey early next week as he films a segment for Gladiator where he will help install a complete Gladiator Garageworks system in the garage of the sweepstakes winner.  The segment will air during Trackside LIVE on Speed Channel during the November 5th race coverage at Phoenix.

Martinsville Appearance:
In addition to spending time at the track with the Alpine guests, Chase will also appear at the DODGE Merchandise trailer at the track on Saturday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. EST.  Stop by and get Chase’s autograph and purchase your official Chase Montgomery merchandise.

Career at Martinsville:
Chase will be making his second career visit to the short track of Martinsville Speedway.  Earlier this season in his debut at the track, Montgomery piloted his #8 DODGE to a then series career best finish of 16th.
