Bobby Hamilton qualified his Square D Dodge in the twelfth starting position for tomorrow's O'Reilly 400K night race at Texas Motor Speedway. Hamilton's lap time of 30.107 seconds places him in the same starting position as he was in at Atlanta Motor Speedway, a race he
won earlier this year.

"That is pretty ironic," Hamilton said.  "I swear there are racing gods out there some where.  If they are giving us a sign, then we'll take it.

"My truck was pushing a lot earlier today," Hamilton said.  "We tried a bunch of things during practice and even talked with other teams about what they were doing.  Every driver here is complaining about their truck pushing, so we know we are not that far off.  It will help when this sun goes down and we can finally get some laps on the track at night.  Then we will be able to tell the real way we are going to be when this green flag
drops tomorrow night."

Ted Musgrave won the Pole starting position with a time of 29.839 seconds. Robert Huffman, Bill Lester, Dennis Setzer and Carl Edwards follow in the
top five.
