Dickies Home Race: For the second time this season, Chad Chaffin and the No. 18 BHR Dickies Dodge Team will feel a little extra pressure when they enter the racetrack. This week, the stands will be filled with several employees of their primary sponsor, Dickies, as their World Headquarters is located just down the road in the city of Fort, Worth, Texas.

"This is a big race," said Chaffin. "Every race is important, but when the event is being held in your sponsor's backyard, it really puts the pressure on us to do well. The last time we were here in June, we started tenth and finished a respectable eighth, but this time around, we'll be looking for a little more from the outcome."

Chaffin and the Team enter the race at Texas Motor Speedway in the tenth position in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points standings, battling tooth and nail with Matt Crafton to maintain that spot.

"We hope to finish out the season with top ten runs," said Chaffin. "This has been a hard fought season and it's not over yet. I know Matt and the No. 88 Team are as solid as they come, and they are going to be digging hard to get by us."

Appearances: Chaffin will be making an appearance on Thursday, October 9, 2003 from 4PM to 7PM at the Cavendar's Boot City at 857 West Pipeline Road in Hurst, Texas.

Championship Contenders: With four races remaining in the 2003 season, there are nine drivers that can still mathematically win the 2003 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship.

This Week's Truck: The No. 18 Dickies Team will be taking "Hulk" back to Texas Motor Speedway this week. In June, Hulk started in the tenth position, ran in the top ten much of the night, and finished in the eighth place. Hulk is also the same truck that Chaffin put on the pole position at Kansas Speedway and Nashville Super Speedway earlier this summer.

"We're taking our big gun to the race," said Chaffin. "We know we need to be a force at Texas, so we're taking the truck that has been the best all year. The boys have been getting it ready since it got back from Las Vegas, and it should be ready to go."
