Memphis Finish in the Past: Last weekend at Memphis Motorsports Park, Chad Chaffin and the No. 18 BHR Dickies Dodge team suffered a major engine failure that relegated the team to a 28th place finish and out of the top ten in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points standings. But this week, the race is at the Milwaukee Mile. It is a whole new week, and everyone on the team knows not to dwell in the past.

"What's done is done," said Chaffin. "Last week is just that, last week. This weekend we're in Milwaukee and our goals are the same. We have to get to the track and get the Dickies Dodge running up front. Not a big deal. I know this team is capable, and I know we can get it done together. We all just have to take the bad weeks that we've had and forget them. We have seven races in a row, and this will separate the good teams from the bad ones."
Chaffin and the Dickies team enter this week's race in the 11th position in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points standings, a mere ten points out of the top ten.

"It's not time to start worrying about points, but we do need to be aware of where we are setting and what opportunities that we need to take advantage of," said Chaffin. "It's real easy to lose ground in this points deal, but we just need to string together a few top ten finishes and we'll be fine."

Appearances: Chaffin will be making an appearance at the Mills Store in Germantown, Wisconsin on Thursday, June 26, from 1PM to 3:30PM Central Time. The No. 18 BHR Dickies transporter will also be on hand for fans to see while Chaffin signs autographs.

"We've got another appearance for Dickies this week," said Chaffin. "We've done a few for them during the year, and we've had a great time. The fans come out, and we give away a few posters and talk to them. All in all, we have a great time at the appearances. I'm a relatively unknown driver, so I get a kick out of getting out and making a few new fans."

Team Starts: This will be the fifth start for the No. 18 team at the Milwaukee Mile. In each of the previous starts, the team has qualified in the top ten, so it's up to Chaffin to make it five for five in top ten starts.

This Week's Truck: For the second week in a row, Chaffin and the No. 18 BHR Dickies Dodge Team will be racing "Chunky." Chunky has been one of the fastest trucks for the team this year, but in the last two races, it has run out of gas running second and blown an engine last week after a strong performance.

"I tell you what, Chunky is a fast truck, but the last two times we've run it, we just can't seem to finish," said Chaffin. "The funny thing is I really think if we finish one of these races with it, we just might win the thing. It's that good of a truck."

Chaffin Quotes

"Back in 1997, I won a Hooters Pro Cup Series event at Milwaukee, so I know how to get around this place. It was the Alan Kulwicki Memorial Race, so it will always be a special win for me in my career. He was a great driver, and to win the race named in his honor is pretty amazing."
